Thanks Mom, for finding a great guy - a man of character, commitment and strong values - to marry and to raise a family.
Thanks for making our family your top priority. You never missed an important event in the lives of your kids and we all benefitted. You always hung in there and we learned about trust and responsibility.
Thanks for educating us, beginning with hugs and kisses, songs, dancing, and making us laugh.
Thanks for letting us play and have independent time for day-dreaming and exploring the world.
Thanks for the first books you gave us and for all of the wonderful books that followed. You raised passionate readers, who grew up without academic pressure.
Thanks for not being a perfectionistic housekeeper and for giving us a kid and pet-friendly home.
Thanks to you and Dad for including us in dinners out, vacations, and special events. We absorbed your manners and social skills by osmosis at our daily family meals.
Thanks for giving us a strong social conscience. We watched you and Dad do good in the community, often anonymously, and we learned.
Thanks for giving your energy, without limit, in helping us achieve our goals.
Thanks for being so full of life and fun. You set the bar very high for us to follow in your footsteps, as parents (and now, as grandparents). But, what fabulous footsteps they are!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of the wonderful moms in our lives.
