My kids started back at school yesterday. My daughter is attending Preschool again and when she came home I asked, "How was your day?"

Every Friday I drive my son down to meet his father. There's a half-way meeting point between our small town and his dad's big city neighborhood.

I've had a rough few days (too busy and our sitter didn't show up so...). Any time that happens, I attempt to re-direct my frustration with a little humor. In this case, it will likely be YOU laughing at ME. That's fine. At least someone will be laughing.

A few nights ago, my son asked if he could go on his computer. I replied, "Again? Fine. But it's been a while since you wrote a poem about me. Go write a poem about me and then you can go on your computer."
